25 January 2021 - Hungary-based Partner in Pet Food (PPF) has acquired Italian pet food manufacturer Landini Giuntini for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 1956 and headquartered in Città di Castello, Landini Giuntini is a leading Italian private label dry pet food manufacturer. The company’s management team, led by Steven Giuntini with the support of Gino Giuntini, under PPF ownership.
Commenting on the acquisition, Gerald Kuehr, CEO of PPF, said: “We are delighted to partner with such a successful family-owned business as Landini Giuntini. With its strong footprint in Italy and successful growth, this acquisition represents a significant opportunity for us to expand further our pan-European presence. This partnership will also enable us to broaden our product range into snacks and treats, particularly in the premium and super-premium ranges.”
