3 December 2020 - Trouw Nutrition, part of Nutreco, has opened its first ever manufacturing venture in India with a facility at Jadcherla near Hyderabad.
The 20,000 MT facility will officially be inaugurated on December 7. It will mainly produce vitamin, mineral premixes, mineral blends and feed safety solutions. The plant is expected to reach full capacity utilisation by 2025.
Jurriën Zandbergen, Managing Director, Nutreco Asia, commented: “We already have plants in Japan, China, Indonesia, Vietnam and Myanmar to strengthen our presence in Asia”. According to Zandbergen, establishing a production facility in Hyderabad is Nutreco’s way of reinforcing its commitment to South Asia and Indian markets.
