As part of its strategy for extend applications of current product portfolio, Animine is looking for a Scientist in Animal Nutrition for its R&D department. Directly reporting to the R&D Director, you will act as an expert on topics related to ruminants and contribute in transversal Research projects

Your main missions will be to :
• Define, monitor and evaluate research programs related to Animine´s products and services which are conducted by our scientific partners from recognized universities,
• Proactively participate in technical, regulatory and scientific survey of the livestock, feed compounder and feed additives sectors with focus on ruminant nutrition and health
• Provide scientific support to experimental activities carried out on the field, to Marketing, Technical and Commercial teams, to training actions with colleagues/clients and represent the company at conferences,
• Ensure the interface between R&D team, a doctoral student and her tutors and also with external service providers (laboratory, consultants),

We expect candidates to have/be:
- MSc degree in Animal Science or Veterinary medicine
- 5 years’ experience in R&D activities in ruminants, ideally in relation to applications concerning nutritional additives
- Additional experience with monogastric species is a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to manage research projects with external scientific partners and KOL
- Organized, autonomous, rigorous, proactive and ability to adapt to challenges of a small business
- Comfortable with both English and French, computer tools and a third language (e.g. Spanish)
- Knowledge of environmental aspects related to the feeding of production animals.
