As part of our LabCom project, we are recruiting today a BIOCHEMIST/CHEMIST/ENGINEER IN ANALYTICAL DEVELOPMENT willing to adapt cutting-edge analytical technics, to develop new methods, and to set up/run highly specialized analytical determinations

Reporting to the R&D Director, your missions will be to :
• Adapt and validate analytical methods (NanoSIMS, ICP-MS, XRF, spectrometry, HPLC) for the determination of minerals in inorganic and biological samples (food, tissues, fluids) under the guidance of a LabCom scientific expert
• Define, together with the R&D Director, the transfer strategy of analytical methods developed by the laboratory and interpretation of the results
• Ensure technical interface between the laboratory, the company and customers, document management (protocols, statistical analyses, reports) and communication of results
• Construct calibration curves for XRF measurements and support sampling activities in the field for analysis
• Perform bibliographic research and provide scientific and technical support to the company's activities


We expect candidates to have/be:
- Engineer or Biochemist.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a Development Department of Analytical Methods, ideally in the sector of minerals and / or bioimaging
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized, rigorous, dynamic and showing a real curiosity for analyses
- Fluent in French, very good in English (Professional: Both oral and written)
- Mastery of analytical data processing software
- Able to work in a small-sized and flexible company.


Starting date: January 2021
Location: Ideally in Pau (France)
Travel: Pau 80% / Annecy 20%
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
% work-time: Full time
