Sales Manager* Animal Feed

Your tasks

• Sale of feed additives
• Drawing up a product and marketing strategy
• Implementing the sales strategies developed by the team
• Extending existing distribution channels and creating new ones
• Conducting contract and price negotiations with customers, sales reps and suppliers
• Responsibility for sales and the contribution margin
• Providing technical support in the sales territory
• Planning, conducting and evaluating feeding trials
• Drawing up product presentations, specialist articles and publications; holding technical lectures
• Generating suggestions for new products and developments

Your profile

• University degree in Agricultural Science or Veterinary Medicine
• Several years’ experience in a similar function (ideally in the sale of animal feed)
• Basic knowledge and understanding of chemical technology
• Interest in commercial matters; target and result oriented approach to work
• Knowledge of spoken and written English permitting negotiations
• Team spirit and enjoyment of cooperating with customers, sales partners and colleagues
• Willingness to travel
