9 April 2021 - Feedinfo has launched an exclusive online networking platform for senior leaders from the animal nutrition industry.

The platform, called Feedinfo Connect, is a year-round extension of the Feedinfo Summit, Feedinfo’s flagship event to be held in Geneva on 27-28 October 2021, which will bring together C-suite executives and senior executives from across feed additives, premix and feed producers, to discuss and develop sector-wide plans to future-proof and advance the industry.

In the meantime, Feedinfo Connect provides a place to meet an elite group of professionals to discuss the most pressing challenges through structured networking sessions, group discussions and one-to-one networking opportunities, 365 days of the year. Members will also have access to a variety of interactive sessions designed to inspire and provoke new ways of thinking, including workshops, roundtables, and fireside chats with out-of-industry speakers.

This coming Wednesday (14 April 2021), Feedinfo Connect will be hosting its first session: an invite-only Strategic Working Group to discuss how the animal nutrition industry should be tackling sustainability. Members will be online with CEOs and business unit leaders from across sector. Our guest speakers from JBS, Cargill and Danisco (IFF) will begin the discussion and share ideas, before everyone breaks into small group-chats of 4-5 people to discuss the topic. The working group will last 1 hour. It starts at 16.00 CET/ 10.00 EDT.

Commenting on the launch of Feedinfo Connect, Emma Penny, Managing Director of Feedinfo said: “In common with many other sectors, we are facing challenges which must be addressed. Collaboration is the key to tackling issues such as climate change, perception of our value chains and developing the next generation in our sector, and we hope by bringing together leaders on Feedinfo Connect we can work towards solutions for these.”

“In a year where face-to-face contact has been limited, we also hope Feedinfo Connect will be a place where members can make meaningful connections and share views and ideas freely to provoke year-round discussion and debate for our industry. The platform will become an extension of the Feedinfo Summit which will be held in October and will ensure these important discussions start now and continue throughout 2021”.
