Anitox welcomes Vibi Shanmugarajah and Fernandez Tabor II to the growing LDR team.
Both bring a unique set of skills, knowledge and experience to the teams they join. Vibi is multilingual, speaking both English and German, and is working across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Fernandez has a BSc in Biology and has joined the team in North America.

 

Aviagen is pleased to announce Jitteera (Jill) Seemamahannop as its new Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). For the past decade, Seemamahannop has gained experience in the HR and talent management field across various industries, including Agriculture, Information Technology and Telecommunications. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Thammasat University in Bangkok and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in the United States. Her expertise lies in globally recruiting and managing talent, as well as building and leading top-performing teams.

 

BioMar announced that from November 1st, 2020, Simon Wadsworth will take over the position as Global R&D Director, heading the global R&D organization in BioMar Group. He has a very experienced R&D profile and an excellent track record within R&D management, product innovation and collaboration with customers and the business. He has a highly acknowledged profile in the aquaculture industry. Simon Wadsworth has for more than 30 years been an important contributor to the aquaculture industry within feed and farming operations at Marine Harvest, Cermaq and EWOS-Cargill. He has solid international experience and a strong network in the industry. At the same time, he has been an important contributor to product innovations creating landmarks within nutrition and health. His is coming from a position as Global R&D Manager in Cargill, leading the aqua R&D program.

 

David Zilber (ex-Noma) joins fermentation forces with Chr. Hansen. For the past five years, David Zilber was the Head of Fermentation at Noma, which was voted as the best restaurant in the world several times over the last decade. Recently, he decided it was time for a new challenge. Given their obvious fermentation expertise and strong sustainability profile, Chr. Hansen turned out to be Zilber’s logical next career step in the form of a partnership with the 145-year-old global bioscience company.

 

Jesper Andersen has joined Hamlet Protein as Supply Chain Manager. His experience across various industries will help Hamlet Protein to further improve their customer experiences in the many markets they serve.

 

Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health, Asia Pacific has hired Alex De Leon as its first Head of Technical Services.

He will be responsible for providing technical leadership and support for the APAC region while working closely with product managers, customer laboratory services (CLA) and technical managers in the field.

Alex is a poultry veterinarian with a strong background and knowledge in gut health and, at the same time, well- experienced in feed formulation, feed technology and milling. He was born in the Philippines and did his Doctor of Veterinary Medecin at the College of Veterinary Medecine, University of Philippines, and went on to pursue his Master’s degree in Mississippi State University under the Fullbright scholarship programme.

Alex has more than 15 years of experience in the animal nutrition and health industry in Southeast Asia. Before joining Kemin, he worked for leading companies like Cargill Animal Nutrition, MSD Animal Health, and Cargill Premix and Nutrition. His recent position was strategic marketing and technology director for Cargill Animal Nutrition.

 

Kemin Industries has named Matt Henry, who previously served as Country President- Australia and New Zealand for Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health Asia Pacific, as the business unit’s Regional Sales Director for Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Indonesia and Korea.

Henry served in his prior position for the past 10 years, overseeing Kemin’s animal nutrition and health business in Australia and New Zealand. Before joining Kemin, Henry served as General Manager of Merchandise for GrainCorp. Henry studied agricultural economics at the University of New England in Armidale, New South Wales.

Manuka Biotech, a subsidiary business unit of Singao is pleased to announced the appointment of Mr Mak Yat Lun (Maky) as Regional Sales Manager. Mr. Mak graduated with a degree in Agricultural Science (Horticulture) from University of Putra Malaysia and involved in trading of palm oil and feed phosphates for many years. Prior to joining Manuka Biotech, he held a regional commercial role in a global animal premix company with proven track record in successfully developing sales network in Japan, Taiwan and the Philippines. Mr Mak will be responsible for lead commercial outreach and strategic growth of Manuka Biotech and develop distributor network in the International market, especially Asia Pacific in the years to come. Reporting directly to Dr. Lai ZhouWen, the Managing Director of the company, his priority is working with the established marketing and operation team to drive business in Malaysia and other parts of the world.

 

NUQO is pleased to announce that Patcharin Maneeroj has joined the NUQO team as Managing Director for Thailand. Patcharin obtained her master degree in Chemical Engineering, and bachelor degree in Chemical Science from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. She has been working in animal feed industries for 18 years. In her last role, she acted as Area Sales Director for the whole South East Asia region, and also as Managing Director for Thailand. She has extensive experience in the field of feed additives, such as palatants, phytogenics, toxin binders or organic minerals products, with strong technical skills and a very customer oriented mindset. In her new role, Patcharin will lead the team of NUQO in Thailand, developing the business for the different products of NUQO. With her experience and achievements in the industry, she will bring some exclusive technologies to the market and contribute to the expansion of NUQO in the region.

 

Vilomix is pleased to welcome Adriaan Smulders as their new poultry director at Vilomix.
His primary task will be to gather all the poultry expertise in the Danish Agro group so they can provide customers with even better advice and solutions.

Adriaan brings a broad international experience in the poultry and feed industry and has a solid background in poultry nutrition and feed additives.

After graduating with a Master in Animal Nutrition at Wageningen University he specialized in poultry nutrition research working at De Schothorst. Then moved on to the international premix business working for LNB and Cargill for 20 years, where he has held many different positions in technical, commercial, strategy, marketing and management - always with a strong link to poultry and nutrition.

During the last 4 years Adriaan has been leading Cargill Animal Nutrition`s feed additives business in Europe and EMEA.
