Recent moves (in alphabetical order of company) include:

Kevin Sketcher was named 2Agriculture managing director. Andrew Burley will also join the board as commercial and technical director, and Gavin Berry will assume the chief financial officer role at the firm.Mr Sketcher has more than 30 years of experience in the poultry sector, most recently working at AB Agri to develop the ABN compound feed business. Andrew Burley worked for Faccenda Foods, ForFarmers, and most recently was national sales manager at Trouw Nutrition.

Cobb Europe’s John Vincent is stepping down as director of business development. Mr Vincent has worked for the company for 38 years, contributing to research and development, technical services, and quality assurance.

Dr. Eckel Animal Nutrition has appointed Guido Grassi as Chief Operations Officer. Grassi holds a degree in agronomy and an MBA and has many years of management experience in agricultural companies of various sizes and specialisations. Grassi has worked with global teams, most recently as Country Head Thailand at Bayer and then as Aqua Commercial Head for the Asia-Pacific region at Elanco.

Tyson Foods announced that Chief Operating Officer Donnie King has been named President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Current President and CEO Dean Banks is leaving the company and board for personal reasons. King has more than 36 years of experience in the protein business, holding a variety of executive leadership positions involving virtually all facets of the company including poultry, beef, pork, prepared foods and international.

Unibio welcomed a new CEO: David Henstrom, a long-time Cargill hand whose most recent position was Vice President and Managing Director for Growth Ventures and Commercial Excellence at the Salt Group, and who was also involved in leading the formation of a joint venture with PURIS Proteins which enabled Cargill’s entry into the pea protein business. The appointment follows the decision of Henrik Busch-Larsen, the current CEO and member of the founding family, to step down from his role to pursue other business interests. Henrik will continue to serve as a board member of the company and remains one of its major shareholders.

Zoetis has announced the appointment of Glenn David as Group President and Wetteny Joseph as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. David will oversee Zoetis’ international operations, including China and Brazil. He will also be responsible for the company’s aquaculture business (PHARMAQ), Global BioDevices, and Pumpkin Pet Insurance. Joseph will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Kristin Peck and become part of the Zoetis Executive Team. He brings with him financial expertise and deep experience in the healthcare industry from 13 years at Catalent.
