Recent moves (in alphabetical order of company) include:

Stuart Jackson has been named managing director for ADM Investor Services International Limited (ADMISI). He succeeds Fabian Somerville-Cotton who passed away in May. Jackson has served as the finance director for ADMISI for the past five years. He has a background in the finance and investment industry, serving previously as Chief Financial Officer at Vantage Capital Markets and also in product control at ABN Amro/Royal Bank of Scotland.

Azelis Americas has announced that Vuk Milojkovic will join the company as Managing Director (MD) of the US. Milojkovic has over 25 years of experience in the industrial chemicals and life science sectors, including regional and global leadership roles. Prior to joining Azelis, he led the North America Battery Materials business unit within the Catalyst Operating Division of BASF and served as CEO of the BASF Toda America LLC subsidiary. Earlier in his career, he served as Business Director for BASF Dispersion, Resins and Additives for the automotive and industrial coatings market in North America. He also served as Sr. Manager, BASF Performance Materials of Global Strategy for the Polyurethane business.

Mark Fitzgerald officially retired from his position as BEC Feed Solutions General Manager of Premix and Feed Additives for Australia and New Zealand, on 30 June. Fitzgerald enjoyed a career in the animal feed and poultry industries. He has held senior management roles with businesses including Tegel/NRM in New Zealand, Niugini Tablebirds in Papua New Guinea, Sunnybrand Chickens, Darwalla, Ridley and BEC Feed Solutions in Australia. Fitzgerald officially handed over to his successor at the end of June but will remain in a transitionary role to assist the business on major projects until 30 September. Dr Mark Connors, who has been in the BEC Group business since 2016, commenced in the General Manager position for BEC’s Australian and New Zealand business, from 1 July.

Dr. Reinhard Grandke, the CEO of the DLG (German Agricultural Society) has announced his decision to leave the DLG on 30 September. At DLG’s main committee meeting on 5 September 2022, it will be proposd that Dr. Lothar Hövelmann and Freya von Czettritz take on new dual management roles, in close cooperation with DLG’s President and the Board of Directors. Dr. Lothar Hövelmann, in addition to his responsibilities as Managing Director of Competence Center Agriculture, will be appointed CEO of the DLG. Freya von Czettritz will be appointed CEO of the DLG-Holding GmbH and will be responsible for the business activities of the DLG.

DSM and Firmenich jointly announced its future leadership team for DSM-Firmenich. The existing executive management teams of DSM and Firmenich will remain unchanged until the completion of the merger, which is expected ultimately in H1 2023. The future Executive Committee of DSM-Firmenich will consist of: Geraldine Matchett and Dimitri de Vreeze, as previously confirmed, will be Co-CEOs. Currently Co-CEOs of DSM, they will continue to hold additional CFO (Geraldine) and COO (Dimitri) responsibilities respectively for the future combined company. Matchett and de Vreeze became Co-CEOs of DSM in 2020. Emmanuel Butstraen will be Chief Integration Officer, overseeing the merger of these two iconic companies. He joined Firmenich in 2018 as President of Taste & Beyond. The global network of 15 R&D facilities will be led by Dr. Sarah Reisinger, who has experience in biology and related fields, previously serving in leadership roles at Ginkgo Bioworks and Amyris. She joined Firmenich in 2018 to lead the company's biotechnology and process engineering teams before taking on her current position of Chief Research Officer in 2021. Perfumery & Beauty, incorporating Firmenich's Fragrance and Ingredients divisions and DSM's Personal Care & Aroma business, will be led by Ilaria Resta, who is currently Firmenich's President of Perfumery. Patrick Niels, DSM's Executive Vice President Food & Beverage, will lead the combined Food & Beverage/Taste & Beyond business. DSM's Executive Vice President Health, Nutrition & Care, Philip Eykerman, will continue to lead this business. Ivo Lansbergen, who was appointed DSM's Executive Vice President for Animal Health & Nutrition in 2019, will also continue to lead this segment. Mieke Van de Capelle, currently Firmenich's Chief Human Resources Officer, will continue in the role. Finally, Jane Sinclair, presently Firmenich's General Counsel and Head of Legal and Compliance, will complete the new Executive Committee.

Ikdeep Singh has been named as Mars Inc.’s new Global President for its pet nutrition business. Singh also becomes a member of Mars Petcare’s global leadership team. He is tasked with leading the strategy for growing the portfolio in over 50 global markets and will oversee a team of over 18,000 employees. Singh joined Mars in August 2020 as Pet Nutrition’s Regional President for North America. Prior to joining Mars, he spent six years at the L’Oréal Group, where he served as President working across Consumer Products and Luxury divisions in North America. Before that, he spent 14 years at Procter and Gamble. 

OQ Chemicals has appointed Dr. Albrecht Schwerin as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). His core responsibilities include strategic transformation programs and the sustainability initiative "reduce", with which OQ Chemicals is striving for climate neutrality. Dr. Schwerin has more than 25 years of experience in the chemical industry. Most recently, he was managing director and plant manager of Dynamit Nobel GmbH ES, a Novasep Group company. Other positions in his career have included management positions at Henkel, Cognis, Celanese, and Oxea, the predecessor company of OQ Chemicals.

Protix has appointed Barry Greyling as Corporate Treasurer ahead of a planned major scale-up of its business. Greyling joins recent hires Jeroen van der Staay, Chief Growth Officer and Anneke van de Geijn, Chief Commercial Officer, as the company expands its team and gears up for exponential international growth. He has over 15 years’ international experience in corporate finance, banking, and treasury. Jeroen van der Staay has experience as a strategy consultant, investment manager, corporate business developer, marketing director and commercial director, across a wide variety of industries. Anneke van de Geijn is a business executive with roles as Global Marketing Director, Global Sales Director, and Commercial Director of large divisions within a major multinational.

Trouw Nutrition Asia Pacific has appointed a new General Manager, Adam Banaszak. Effective 1 July, Banaszak will spearhead of the development and expansion of Trouw Nutrition in this region. Banaszak will report to the Managing Director of Business Unit Asia, Jurrien Zandbergen. Banaszak has several years of experience in the energy industry. He has been working for SHV Energy in Poland since 2014. He introduced new products to portfolio covering sales of electricity, natural gas, and energy audits. In November 2020, he was appointed General Manager Nutreco Myanmar.

Gertjan de Koning, Vice President Essential Products, DSM Animal Nutrition & Health, will assume the role of CEO at Veramaris from 1 October. And, joining the business from 1 August, Holger Kinzel, Vice President Animal Nutrition Asia North, Evonik, will take on the role of CFO/COO. De Koning started his career in DSM Performance Materials and later in DSM Nutrition. He became the first Vice President Nutritional Lipids, during which role he was one of the driving forces behind the conception of Veramaris. Over the past five years, Gertjan oversaw DSM’s portfolio of feed vitamins through a period of unprecedented volatility realising growth. Kinzel joined Evonik in 1997 and held various positions in the company covering Product Line & Market Segment Head as well as Sales & Marketing roles in Asia and Germany. Based in Shanghai, he assumed the role of Regional Vice President Animal Nutrition Asia North in 2019.
