The Board of Directors of Ag Processing Inc (AGP) has named Chris Schaffer as its Chief Executive Officer and General Manager effective August 1, 2021. Schaffer, who currently serves as AGP’s Senior Vice President of Ag Products, will succeed current CEO Keith Spackler who earlier this year announced his plans to retire. Schaffer’s career spans over 27 years in agribusiness. He joined AGP in 1994 as a merchandiser and served at AGP’s corporate headquarters as well as the Sheldon and Eagle Grove, Iowa facilities.
Amlan International has named Saksake Pacharadit as the new regional sales manager for the Asia Pacific region (APEC). Saksake has a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Rangsit University in Thailand and a master’s in business in marketing from Victoria University of Technology in Australia. He is also pursuing his Ph.D. in research and education development from Srinakarinwirot University in Thailand. Most recently, he worked as an assistant vice president for a prominent genetics company where he was responsible for the sales and technical service teams. He also worked to acquire new business across Asia.
On 1 October, 38-year-old Christina Nielsen will return to the DLG Group, where she will join as Group CFO and become part of the Executive Board together with Group CEO Kristian Hundebøll and Group COO Jesper Pagh. Christina Nielsen is a state-authorized accountant and holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School. She joined the DLG Group in 2015 from a position as Senior Manager at Deloitte, where she had collaborated with DLG for more than 10 years. Christina Nielsen takes over from acting CFO Lars Sørensen, who took office in February. Lars Sørensen was CFO of DLG from 2012 to 2019, after which he continued in a role where he supported the Executive Board with business development and strategic projects.
Eastman Chemical Company announced changes to its executive leadership. Mark K. Cox, currently Senior Vice President, Chief Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering Officer, has made the decision to retire in 2022. Chief Technology & Sustainability Officer Stephen G. Crawford, currently a Senior Vice President, has been named an Executive Vice President. In addition to his responsibilities for technology and sustainability, Crawford will assume executive leadership of manufacturing and worldwide engineering and construction upon Cox's retirement in 2022. He and Cox will work closely together to ensure an orderly transition.
Eastman also announced the new appointments of Julie A. McAlindon and Dr. Christopher M. Killian to the Executive Team. McAlindon, who was Chief Procurement Officer and Vice President, Transformation, is now Senior Vice President, Supply Chain, Regions and Transformation. Dr. Killian, who had been VP Additives & Functional Products, Chemical Intermediates and Corporate Technology, was named as SVP and Chief Technology Officer, the company said.
Elanco has announced the addition of Marcela A. Kirberger as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. She joins the Elanco Executive Committee at the company’s Greenfield, Indiana-based headquarters on June 22. Kirberger will have responsibility for all of Elanco’s legal functions. She joins the company with more than 20 years of corporate legal experience. Most recently, Kirberger was general counsel and corporate secretary at the North American headquarters of Roche Diagnostics, where she had executive responsibility for the Legal function, overseeing the areas of Commercial, Compliance, Litigation, Legal Regulatory Risk, Privacy, Operations and Labor and Employment. Kirberger holds Juris Doctor degrees from Catholic University of Argentina School of Law and Rutgers University School of Law.
Hubbard appointed Dr Zvezdan Kičeec as Sales and Technical Manager for the Eastern Europe and CIS countries. Zvezdan is based in Croatia and reports to Bruno Briand, Hubbard EMEA Sales Director. He holds a PhD in physiology and pathology of poultry and graduated in 1989 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He has worked in various positions for the second largest poultry integration in Croatia after which he became a shareholder and General Manager of a start-up company involved in poultry production. He then was an independent veterinary inspector and poultry consultant before he joined Hubbard as Senior Technical Consultant in 2016 with a focus on the Middle East, Russia, Kazakhstan, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Philippines and Taiwan.
Zamira François has joined NUQO as Sales Manager for France. Zamira obtained her master’s degree in agriculture sciences, from the University of Montpellier, France. She has been working in animal feed industries for more than 15 years. She acted as export manager and more recently as sales manager for feed and feed additives companies. She has extensive experience in the field of feed additives, such as palatants, phytogenics, toxin binders, with strong technical skills and a very customer-oriented mindset.
