Axiota Animal Health has announced the hiring of Jon Lowe as CEO. Lowe has 30 years of experience in the animal health industry prior to joining Axiota, a company focused on developing products to help cattle thrive during transition and stress,

Precision biotics firm BioZyme® Inc announced Peter Windhausen, Ph.D., as the newest Business Development and Innovation Manager for International Team. Dr. Windhausen has spent the past 25 years working in livestock nutrition marketing and sales in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, mostly for Hoffman-La Roche / DSM.

Alternative protein producer Calysta has appointed Herman Sloot as its new VP of Commercial Development to target opportunities in the pet and human food sectors.
Arnold de Jong started as Operations Manager at ChainCraft this July. He joins the MCFA manufacturer from the energy industry.

Corbion’s Supervisory Board announced in July it has nominated Olivier Rigaud for re-appointment as CEO and Chair of the Board of Management for a second term of office. Olivier Rigaud was appointed in 2019 and his current term of office runs from August 2019 to May 2023.

59-year-old Bent Nissen became the new CEO of DLG Group's German agribusiness company HaGe on July 1. He takes over the job from Henrik Madsen, who has decided to leave HaGe. Nisseen has been with the group 32 years.

Fermentation-based feed additives company METEX announced in late July the appointment of Laurent Bastian as CFO.

Katie Hirtle joined Novus International, Inc. this month as the senior sales specialist for Eastern Canada. She will work with dairy, swine, and poultry customers. Her previous experience includes roles at Trouw Nutrition and Vetoquinol Canada.

PhosAgro elected a new board of directors on June 30, including the following members: Viktor Ivanov, Yuriy Krugovykh, Siroj Loikov, Natalia Pashkevich, Ivan Rodionov, Mikhail Rybnikov, Alexander Seleznev, Viktor Cherepov, Alexander Sharabaiko and Andrey Sharonov.

Insect ingredients firm Protix announced that Einar Wathne and Bert Pauli are joining the advisory board this July. The two are being brought on for their expertise in aquaculture and regulatory matters, respectively; Wathne is the former CEO of EWOS and president of Cargill Aqua Nutrition, while Pauli has worked with the company between 2013 and 2019 on deregulation of the insect nutrition industry.

Zoetis has appointed Vanessa Broadhurst, Executive Vice President, Global Corporate Affairs at Johnson & Johnson, to its Board of Directors. Ms. Broadhurst has deep experience in consumer insights and direct-to-consumer advertising, and her appointment increases the size of the Board from 11 to 12 members. She will serve on the Board’s Quality and Innovation Committee.
