Barentz International B.V. announces that Derk-Jan Terhorst has been appointed as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and as a member of the Board starting from September 1st, 2021. Derk-Jan Terhorst has significant experience in international financial management and worked for Ahold Delhaize for over 15 years including as CFO in Central Europe and as CFO for Stop & Shop in MA, USA. Most recently Derk-Jan was Chief Financial Officer at Tony’s Chocolonely. Following Derk-Jan Terhorst’s appointment, Jos van der Linden will step down as CFO and Board member after 24 years.
Delacon announces the appointment of its new Chief Operating Officer, Michael Fischer. Fischer has more than 25 years of experience in the food industry and has been part of executive boards for 13 years. He is located at the company’s Hub in Engerwitzdorf, Austria. In his function, Michael Fischer is reporting directly to Delacon’s CEO Markus Dedl and oversees the areas of Operations, Finance, Organizational Development, as well as Administration.
Ruminant Specialist Nicholas Anglade joins Hamlet Protein as Category Manager Ruminants. Anglade graduated from Rennes National School of Agronomy and Essec Cergy Pontoise. Meanwhile, Jessika van Leeuwen has been recently appointed as category manager swine. Van Leeuwen graduated from Wageningen University (NL).
Intrepid Potash, Inc. announced that Brian Stone has been promoted to President effective August 2, 2021Stone joined Intrepid in December 2019 as Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for Intrepid’s Oilfield Solutions segment. Prior to joining Intrepid, he spent 34 years in all phases of the oil and gas industry, most recently as Chief Operating Officer for Hupecol Operating Co., an international oil and gas company focused on South America and Europe.
David Bravo has joined Nutreco as Chief Science Officer (CScO) to lead the company’s new fundamental research unit. David joined the company from Land O’Lakes feed business unit, where he was most recently Director Innovation & Technology Scouting. Bravo served in a variety of positions in feed, premix and feed additive companies including In Vivo NSA (now known as Neovia) in France, Pancosma in Switzerland, and Land O’Lakes.
Rob Koremans has announced that he will be retiring from his role as Nutreco CEO this summer after leading the company for the past three years. With effect from August 15 2021, Fulco van Lede will join Nutreco as CEO. Fulco was appointed as a member of the Executive Board of Directors of SHV on July 1, 2018, after having served in different positions in Makro and SHV Energy; in the latter ultimately as CEO of the SHV Energy Board. After August 15, Rob will stay on in the company until the end of the year as an advisor to the Nutreco Executive Leadership Team.
Zinpro Corporation promoted Candyce Trautwein to Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Trautwein will be responsible for outlining the strategic direction for Zinpro’s global Accounting and Finance teams and building the financial tools and processes to support Zinpro’s growth in the years to come. Trautwein brings 13 years of experience to the role and will continue to be based at the Zinpro headquarters in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
