ADM Names Jennifer Weber New Chief Human Resources Officer. Weber comes to ADM from home improvement retail leader Lowe’s Companies, where she has served as EVP of Human Resources since 2016. Throughout her career, Weber has managed organizations through a variety of consolidation, M&A and significant organic growth efforts, holding leadership positions at Fortune 1000 businesses including Towers Perrin, Scripps Networks and Duke Energy.

Phyllis Marquitz joins ADM in the newly-created role of VP, Global Regulatory & Scientific Affairs. She will have overall strategic responsibility for regulatory affairs and nutrition policy matters across ADM globally.

 

Amlan International has named Dr. Kreangkrai “Pong” Sangthongdang as Thailand Country Manager, leading local business development efforts. Amlan International is a subsidiary of Oil-Dri Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer of sorbent minerals. Sangthongdang brings more than 22 years of experience in the feed industry, focused on animal health medicine and feed additives for poultry and swine. Previously, Dr. Pong held leadership roles in marketing and business development at Intervet (MSD) and Ceva Animal Health. Most recently, he was Business Development Director at Diamond V where he successfully positioned their gut health products with key customer accounts.

 

Anitox announced two new hires, Tom Glomski  as Chief Revenue Officer and Sylvia Sorvino as LATAM Channel Manager.

 

Hamlet Protein announced the hiring of two technical sales consultants to support its growth in Latin America. The additional will focus on driving an increased market penetration in swine nutrition and support a successful entrance in the poultry markets across the region. Dr. Jose Luis Laparra, a veterinarian and nutritionist, will cover Mexico and Central America. Angela Mejia, veterinarian and zoo-technical engineer, will support Hamlet Protein in South America.

In North America Hamlet is expanding its poultry team hiring poultry nutritionist Kyle Brown. Brown will provide technical and nutritional consulting to Hamlet Protein’s business partners across the region, oversee poultry research studies in NCA, and work with the global technical team.  

 

Lallemand Animal Nutrition announces expanded field support for its North American team to better support customers across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central America.

Michayla Davidson joins as a Field Support Specialist for customers in the western United States, focused in the Pacific Northwest.

Paige Spowart also joins as a Field Support Specialist for customers in the western United States, specifically focusing her efforts in Texas.

Kevin Falk joins as the Documentation and Quality Assurance Coordinator for Lallemand Animal Nutrition, managing product and quality assurance documentation for all North and Central American feed additives and inoculants to ensure products and suppliers meet the company’s high standards.

Gerardo Escamilla as Monogastric Manager for Mexico and Central America. As a manager at Lallemand Animal Nutrition, he will help producers improve their production potential to ensure both regions can meet the growing demand for protein.

 

Dr. Peter Windhausen has joined Pathway Intermediates Limited (United Kingdom) as Marketing and Sales Director. With over 26 years of experience in technical marketing, training, and sales in livestock industry, Dr. Windhausen will bring the company’s innovative solutions in animal health and nutrition to global partners and clients.

 

Phileo by Lesaffre has grown its North American sales team with three hires. Anna Crockett has joined Phileo by Lesaffre as a Regional Sales Manager for Poultry and Swine. George Perigo has joined Phileo by Lesaffre as a Regional Sales Manager for the Poultry team and Nathan Pokowski as a Dairy Regional Sales Manager.

 

PHM Brands moves into feed space naming Chris Gross VP of feed ingredient merchandising to lead PHM Brands’ newest feed venture. Prior to PHM Brands, Chris served as VP, Commodity Management at Trinidad Benham, where she led the edible beans procurement and risk management for cash commodities, bulk trading division. Prior to Trinidad, Chris served as a leader for ConAgra Foods in the KBC edible bean business which consisted of 17 bulk plants throughout the United States.

 

Tyson Foods Names Dean Banks to succeed Noel White as Chief Executive Officer, while maintaining the role of President, effective October 3, 2020. Since joining Tyson Foods as a director in 2017 and his appointment as President in 2019, Banks has worked closely with Tyson leadership to develop a greater understanding of the business and strategic vision for future growth. Prior to joining Tyson Foods, Banks was a Project Lead and on the Leadership Team at X (formerly Google [x]), an Alphabet Inc. company, where he remains an advisor. Previously, he was Managing Partner of SEED Ventures, a group investing in and developing early stage healthcare technologies.

 

Amie Thesingh joins Wilbur-Ellis as Vice President of Corporate Business Development, responsible for mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate strategy and development. Before joining Wilbur-Ellis, Thesingh held a variety of leadership roles at Cargill, most recently, she was Vice President of Strategy, Marketing and Innovation for Cargill’s protein businesses in Latin America, Europe and Asia. She created the first global strategy and acquisition portfolio across these regions, identified the critical levers for aggressive organic and M&A growth, and subsequently took responsibility for go-to-market and innovation improvement efforts.

 

Zinpro Corporation announces four hires, Business Development Manager – Swine, International Dr. Stefan Langer, Francisco Dias as Country Manager Monogastrics – UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, Greg Heeney as Country Manager Australia and Digital Marketing Associate for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, Ekaterina Velikorodnaya.

Langer, with over 25 years of animal production and nutrition experience, will be supporting the company’s swine customers to achieve their goals for increased profitability, better welfare and less use of antibiotics.
Francisco Dias will be responsible for leading the company’s strategic direction for monogastric species, with an emphasis on poultry and sustainable production in these regions. In a newly created country manager Australia role, Heeney will lead the strategic sales and operational direction for the country, providing and customizing products and services to increase animal wellness and to improve efficiencies and profitability for customers. Ekaterina Velikorodnaya will help the company expand its digital presence and support ongoing marketing and sales initiatives in the region.
