More about the speakers:

 

  • Phil Cardoso, Ph.D. Department of Animal Science, University of Illinois

Phil Cardoso is an associate professor of Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where he is conducting research and providing outreach programs in the area of dairy nutrition and reproduction.  His experience with dairy farms in Brazil and the USA brings a different perspective and management skills that help him with discussions in class. He obtained a PhD degree in ruminant nutrition from the University of Illinois, and a Masters and DVM degrees from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

 

  • Jean-François Honoré, Managing Director Iberia, De Heus

Jean-François Honoré holds over 30 years in the agro-business from commercial to senior management positions. Currently, Jean-François is working as the Managing Director of De Heus Animal Nutrition in Iberia. He took on this position in 2019. Before this, he held senior management positions in different agro-businesses. 

 

  • Dr Diego Martinez del Olmo - Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health EMENA

Diego Martinez del Olmo graduated in Veterinary medicine and obtained a Master's degree in Animal Science at the University of León and received his PhD from the University Complutense of Madrid. He also holds a dairy farm management Master's degree from the University Autónoma de Barcelona. Diego joined Kemin as ruminant Product Manager in 2017, being responsible for the amino acid portfolio.
