30 December 2020 - India's Advanced Enzymes Technologies Limited is acquiring a 51% stake in SciTech Specialities Private Limited (SSPL) for Rs 31.62 crore.
SSPL is a contract manufacturing company specialising in effervescent granules and tablets. It was formed in 2007 and is focussed on animal health, pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.
AETL said SSPL has "important applications in three of AETL’s existing verticals (human health, animal nutrition, and food), providing new delivery systems for existing products and opening avenues for additional sales to AETL’s existing customer base."
The acquisition is expected to be completed by January 31, 2021.
