2 December 2021 - As part of its ongoing programme to enhance the quality of its price reporting service, Feedinfo announces the addition of vitamin B1 (thiamine) and vitamin B3 (niacin/niacinamide) to its feed additive price index.

The price reports, starting at the beginning of December, will provide weekly coverage of the vitamin B1 and vitamin B3 markets in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Vitamin B1 prices will be assessed on Tuesdays and vitamin B3 prices on Thursdays.

The addition of these reports brings the number of vitamins covered by Feedinfo to eight, and the total number of combined amino acid, vitamin and mineral price reports across all regions to 62.

“Our subscribers told us they wanted to see expanded coverage of key vitamin markets, and these new reports will help to provide that. We look forward to launching more price reports next year”, said Sam Weatherlake, Principal Analyst at Feedinfo.

Additions to the Feedinfo price index in recent years include L-lysine HCl 98% (Chinese-origin), L-valine, D-Calpan, and biotin, as well as the extension of our geographical coverage to Asia and the Americas.

In a recent upgrade to the Feedinfo pricing service, vitamin and amino acid prices, trends and commentary are now clearly segmented for the Europe, Asia and Americas markets. Feedinfo also rolled out its Pricing Intelligence Pro and Supply & Demand Pro services as part of a new suite of products under the Feedinfo Pro Services brand.

Feedinfo is the world's only IOSCO-compliant price reporting and news agency dedicated exclusively to animal feed additives.
