29 November 2021 - Cargill Animal Nutrition is building a global innovation centre for animal nutrition and health in Yuncheng, Shanxi Province, China, in partnership with strategic swine customer Shanxi Changrong Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd (Changrong).
The facility will be located inside a new 2,500 sow swine farm to be built by Changrong, where independent and proprietary sow-related research projects will be conducted by Cargill Animal Nutrition.
The facility is expected to be completed in August 2022.
Mariano Berdegue, strategic marketing and technology director of Cargill Animal Nutrition, said: “This is a new milestone of our business in China and Asia. All our innovation efforts are focused on meeting customer demands. The new innovation center will place us even closer to our customers in the most important pork market in the world and give us valuable insights to help us serve customers throughout Asia and globally.”
