We are recruiting today a TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER (EUROPE) reporting to Sales Director, to provide commercial & technical support for Europe. Contributing to business development with sales, managing distributors and liaising with other teams, the ideal candidate for this position has both an excellent commercial orientation including superb interpersonal skills, and a solid technical knowledge in Monogastric Nutrition. We seek a dynamic candidate, of natural enthusiasm, who is willing to travel when not working from a home office.

Main responsibilities:
• Create new distribution networks in the EUROPEAN countries and be able to further develop establish client base
• Define sales budget and marketing actions for each country of the region
• Provide technical support to clients, distributors and key customers
• Assure direct support and visits to customers to guarantee business development
• Interconnect local actions to support sales and cooperation with regional key accounts
• Participate in relevant business exhibitions and scientific / technical congresses.
• Interact successfully with individuals of diverse professions, educational backgrounds and nationalities
• Communicate effectively with the different players in the industry (making scientific or theoretical information accessible to farmer. Or effectively communicating the end-user experience to a sales executive or a scientist, etc.)
• Create demand for firm’s products with technical solutions for customer needs

We expect candidates to have/be:
- BSc or MSc degree in Monogastric/Animal Nutrition, Animal/Life Sciences, Agriculture, or a DVM with Monogastric/Animal Nutrition focus or the demonstrated “on-the-job” knowledge gained in experience in the field
- 5-10 years’ experience in a similar position (Feed, Premix, Feed Additives)
- Strong technical background and experienced in Swine and/or Poultry nutrition & health. Background in nutrition/formulation/health
- Good European Animal Nutrition industry knowledge is desired
- Knowledge and experience in feed additives / functional feed ingredients is a must
- Good experience in dealing with farms (technical advice, field trial set up, etc.)
- English: professional fluency required; French, Spanish and other European languages highly appreciated
- Working knowledge of MS Office programs

Location: Europe-based
Travel: up to 50% (experienced in business travel and ready for more!)
Salary: Attractive, competitive base salary and targeted bonus incentives
Type of contract: permanent
