Adisseo expands their technical and commercial teams for aquaculture in Asia Pacific and China.
Ms. Guiping Zhao joins the team from February 1 as Regional Technical Manager Aquaculture for China. Guiping obtained a bachelor’s degree in aquaculture from the Dalian Ocean University and an MSc in aquatic animal nutrition and feed from the Ocean University of China. She has experience in the Chinese aquafeed industry, with 10 years at Alpha Feed. In December 2018, Guiping was Technical Service Manager Aquaculture in a large feed additive company in China.
Mr. Huynh van Lanh also joins the aquaculture business unit from February 1 as Aquaculture Sales Manager – Vietnam. Lanh graduated from the Can Tho University as an aquaculture engineer with a degree in business administration. Lanh has over 15 years of technical sales experience in different sectors of the Vietnamese aquaculture industry.
Amlan International names Harold Zhou as Regional Operations Director for China. Most recently, Zhou worked as a sales director in China for a global broiler breeding company.
Animine appoints Yohann Laurent as a new area sales manager for the Asia Pacific. Mr. Laurent graduated from Agrocampus Ouest (France, Rennes) where he obtained a Master of Science in animal production, and has over 15 years’ experience in the feed additive sector.
Steve Bourne joins Arm & Hammer Animal and Food Production as Eurasian sales director, strengthening the company’s presence in Oceania, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Bourne’s career spans more than 30 years with agri-food businesses in Europe, Asia and North America. He spent most of his career with Alltech. In 2018, he founded Bourne Consulting Group Ltd to help agri-food companies and organizations expand markets domestically and internationally.
Cargill appoints Dr. Omar Ishrak to its Board of Directors. Dr. Ishrak was previously the Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board at Medtronic until December 2020. Dr. Ishrak was also named Independent Chairman of the Board of Intel last January, and currently serves on the boards of the Cleveland Clinic, of the Trustees for the Minnesota Public Radio and the Asia Society.
Hamlet Protein continues to expand its commercial team. In recent months, new hires were announced in focus markets around the world. Kurt Desmet joins their team as Area Sales Manager Benelux. Desmet, Belgian, has gained experience in piglets, chicks, and veal in various multinational companies throughout his career.
